EMERGENCY RESPONSE

The heavy spells of rains in vulnerable areas like Baidoa and Galgadud creates a flood situation. The scenarios get even worse when numerous individuals in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) settlements get displaced along riverine areas due to flash and river flooding.
On the other hand, some African regions are suffering from severe droughts arising from diminished rainfalls and long-term temperatures increases. These droughts jeopardize the food and energy supplies of millions in those regions.
Our teams are collaborating to build resilience among people in the affected areas by providing them with emergency food and health supplies. We also join hands with partner organizations to provide vaccinations and treatments against the diseases brought about by flood and drought situation.

ORPHAN CARE

Orphans in East African regions struggle for survival. The number of orphans in these regions are rising due to natural and mancaused deaths as well as destructions. Although, we cannot control the adverse circumstances for all orphans in the region, we can still touch the lives of majority through compassionate care and support. Our aim is to save these orphans from living a life of hopelessness. It will certainly make an incredible difference for the children. We, at ADRF, have launched a campaign to sponsor and aid orphaned African children and their families. We want to help them lead dignified lives. With your assistance, we can cover an orphan’s basic monthly needs revolving around food, clothing, shelter, mandatory healthcare and education (up to high school). Your contribution can help save their world.

HEALTHCARE

African Development And Relief Foundation (ADRF) believes that building a strong primary healthcare system in Somalia and other East African countries is imperative. We want to bring about a sustainable financing for health. Most parts of Somalia are in substantial need of a good health facilities. The healthcare systems in major parts of Somalia have been adversely affected by decades of instability and civil war. ADRF is committed to using the existing opportunities and resources to upgrade the health and social development in the region.
